He is not selling it for clone money. Says he has docs and claims #'s matching motor. Sounds like fraud and misrepresentation to me. Nowhere does he state it's a clone. It's bad for the hobby.

...so Here is the car being discussed.... now on ebay...

Blue 1969 camaro ....on Ebay

...I tried to "ask the seller a question".... but for some reason that option does not work.

... I believe the seller is a member here.... maybe he can clear things up

Is this the current owner?

What gets me is, after mecum dealt with it once they tried to sell it again. I have been to Kissimmee 4 or 5 years and its amazing how much fake stuff is there. Camaros with fake tags, restamps, wrong parts, and the first one I looked at this year was a Norwood car, fake tag z with a la block and the ford caution fan sticker!

What's hard to understand too, is the seller really the same person as the buyer that started this old thread here?

So, after buying the re-bodied RS Copo real-muscle-1 stated in the old thread "nobody else should go threw the problem...". I sent a message to the Ebay seller real-muscle-1 and informed him about the reality of the car he had for sale. His response was "thank you". He had a real problem buying a Copo and finding out it was a re-body but he has no problem selling a known clone L89 for L89 money without disclosing the tag modification. Like musical chairs, no one is happy to be the one left standing, or out all their money. Just pass it on seems to be the motto for some of these dealers and auction houses. As always buyer beware.
