Dan </div></div> I repectfully disagree with this statement. I've seen the steel and padded in coupes. I think it was more to do with the new safety regulations that hit the books in the 69 model year.

They look exactly the same. You almost cant tell a difference until u pick them up, well I cant anyhow. Im sure Dan can spot them from a 100 yards away. I thought I had a pic of mine. Mike
