Chuck, you are correct - i should have taken the tubes and the studs out for the pics, but i put them up for sale in a hurry - for no particular reason except that i was moving them and had my camera with me!
I sold the car these were going to go on - and yes, nice set - bought them from you Chuck! All the holes and threads are perfect, no cracks, chips or welds.
