Lynn, you can buy rubberized undercoating at auto parts stores for $6 to $7 per can, I've been using it for many years on many cars & trucks, all of the brands I used has the wrinkled look and turns out nice, I've noticed that some dealers piled it on thick, like our local dealer used to do, others barely covered anything .

Actually, I used a can of the black bedliner spray recently and i think that may be the way to go on a budget. It gives a thicker, more grainy layer than regular spraycan undercoating.
