This is for a private collector and not intended to be flipped so the end cost is not a deciding factor. However, he wants one restored correctly and has asked that we restore one for him as opposed to finding one done. Since I am currently doing an LS6 for him we would like to find another car to do for him. He and I both know that an L78 or LS6 convertible is likely not going to happen so that is why he is open to an LS5 which is almost as hard to locate. Funny thing is, since running this ad many previously unknown LS6 convertibles have been offered to me, none of which are proving to be real. Go figure.

Rick
Thats pretty sad with what is going on in the hobby with all these faked out cars. I blame Chevrolet for not keeping there records. Could you imagine if Chevrolet had Historical records like Pontiac and Ford does. This BS would not exist. With Chevrolet you have to really do your homework or hire a a guy like Rick himself to see if the car is real. Good luck in finding a real deal car for your client.
