I had a Cortez silver & black 70 1/2 Z28 that I traded in on my new 73 Z28 in March 1973, at Fencl-Tufo Chevy in Glendale Hts, IL. I would have no info regarding the VIN though, so probably could not confirm whether or not it is the same one I owned. I can tell you one thing for sure, though....the one I traded in did not have the original engine in it [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif[/img]

That was a fairly popular color combo, so I'm sure I was not the only one in the Aurora/Naperville area to have one. Do you know if the car was originally sold new at Egizio Chevy-Olds in Naperville?
