Default Re: 63 Corvette cool

I remember meeting him a couple decades ago at a Street Machine Nationals. He had that radical 69 Camaro at the time. It was in the hotel parking lot and he couldn't get the thing started and he was late for a photo shoot. - it had wet down the plugs so badly.

As a typical punk 20-something I asked him what plugs he was running and he told me. I walked over to the trunk of my Cuda and pulled out a brand new set of the exact set he told me and handed them to him. He was speachless. I watched him put the set in and the car fired right up. Who'd have thought that a set of big black Mopar spark plugs happened to be exactly what he was running. (and the only set of plugs I had in my toolbox).

He did thank me profusely for the plugs. A nice guy.

Hey, wait a minute he never did pay me for them?????
