1968 MAIL ORDER MOTION CORVETTE

I remember when this was on e-bay for the first time as a "project" still in the yard with the engine out. ( 7/ 8 years ago) Still have all the pics from e-bay in my file.
I emailed the person and asked the reserve price.
It was low. It never did meet the reserve.
Obviously I never bought it, I was unemployed at the time and I was in the process of paying for my Daughters wedding. I had no place to work on it. Did not seem like a good time. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif[/img]
In a way I am glad I did not buy it. I would not have been in the financial position to bring it to where it is today. It's an awesome car. I will admit that knowing that I could have owned it makes this car special to me.
