Re: 1967 "Motion" Corvette ????
Interesting....from the ad "This car came from Reedman Motors (made famous by Baldwin Motion). It was ordered from the factory as a 435 HP, 427 as you will see on the Protecto plate and build sheet. Car has never been hit and appears to have had side pipes at some point. This car currently appears to have a Baldwin Motion 327 in it. The build sheet states that it was originally a military order. My theory is…… the original 427 (modified by Baldwin Motion) was blown up and replaced with a Baldwin Motion 327. I have no documentation of this, this is just my theory. At the very least it is an original paint, never been hit, 435 HP, 4-speed Corvette Coupe. At the very best it may be one of the earliest examples of a Baldwin Motion Corvette in existence."
Never heard of a BM 327 and yes, the earliest BM was the one and only in 1967, The Mason Chevelle
