Check to see if the wheel where the coating lifted has <span style="text-decoration: underline">any</span> break fluid weeping from that wheel Caliper/cylinder. If so, even just a minuscule amount will eat up the floor coatings. Gas won't tear them up (as fast) and oil won't damage them, but break fluid will kill them.
