LOL that is the truth. Things have just got so expensive lately. What has really made me say wow is the cost of shipping + handling on parts. My advice to you is sit down and make a list of parts you are going to order. It's the one part orders that kill your wallet. Jason

The one secret place to get parts that I have found is rockauto.com. I got my new Spectra 42B repro fuel tank there, my American Autowire engine harness, KYB shocks, and tons of other stuff. The price discounts are unbelievable on some items and the shipping is crazy cheap. Plus when you google "rockauto coupon" you can find the 5% discount code that never expires.
For example, the fuel tank shipping was $17 from rockauto when the ebay sellers wanted $45. And the tank was a cheaper price, too. The American Autowire harness was $189 from American Autowire...and $119 from rockauto who had American Autowire direct ship it to me! |
