Sorry if I've offended you Lynn - sure didn't intend to. My car was never restored and pretty original, but certainly could have had the grille replaced along the way. I was just wondering if there was more then one supplier & maybe different base material colors. A lot has been written about the colors of the finished grilles, but I haven't seen anything about different colors of the base material.
