69 Camaro SS grill (which Black to use)?

Well, first off I am a CNE (certified non-expert), but pretty darn sure the silver grills were all cast in off white for the assy line. I would suspect your grill was replaced.

Having said that, I have no doubt there are more than a few guys here that have much more experience messing with true survivor cars.
