Do '69 firebirds have the partial VIN stamped in the cowl area similar to '69 Camaros?

It looks like someone ground down the convin on the cowl, notice the rusty area? I am assuming that's what he meant by &quot;removed&quot; vins.





Wonder about the heater box con-vin?

I didn't even notice that the first time around. Makes you wonder what the subframe is from. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/confused.gif[/img]

All 1969 Trans Am's had mandatory power disc brakes and power steering. You could not delete those items.
