you know, I saw a light green metallic L78 chevelle convert at the latest MCACN show, I think it was a 67. It was 100% original paint, perfect survivor, yet it looked like it was cleared over, it was that nice (yet it was not cleared over). I believe certain paints can age or appear different from one another. There was also a 67 gold camaro in vintage judging, and it too looked almost too shiney (until it was then verified as original paint).

Whoever is interested in buying this car Im sure will have it inspected. Like every other 40 year old car it is not perfect. I will be willing to say it is probably the most original, lowest mile, original drive train with the most documentation 1969 L78 conv known at this time.

Mike,
I remember seeing the car several times at the Saturday evening cruises in Brunswick. What a beautiful car. Good luck with the sale. Phil Woj |

That may have been a '66 L78 Chevelle Rag Top Survivor, which belongs to a member here. I don't recall a similar '67. You always see the coolest cars at MCACN. |

I was at Barrett-Jackson that year and I, too remember that car very well. At the time, it might have been the highest (or one of the highest) priced non-ZL-1 Camaro. It really caught mt attention! Boy, where did those last nine years go?!!!
