It used to be a more prevelent concept before the days of high dollar axle shafts. I guess today you'd see it more on dirt track cars and stockers. I used it recently when making a new drive shaft,for a extended trailing arm,on a custom bike. Snap snap snap...glad that bike dissapeared! Big |

Big, I put new Moser studs in the new axle's. The bearings look good during tear down. Most of the metal was in the left tube.
