"...fully documented"......finally a definition for the masses!

My question to seller:

Sharp Camaro. Your description states "fully documented". What is the documentation that you have and is it original documentation. Thank you.

Response:

Hello,
No factory documentation just owner history and mileage history.
Thank you, John.

(somehow my question did not get posted in his eBay ad! )

I'm not minimizing the fact that owner history can be a form of documentation, but I think this fella took a few liberties here. Just one of my pet peeves.... . Moral of the story is, the definition of "fully documented" is whatever you want it to be as long as you sell your car!

He definitely pushed the limits of full documentation too far.
He should get it survivor certified, vintage judged, and mcneish certified, if he wants top dollar for it.

But even still, I dont think it will match the price it would get with a window sticker or protecto plate in hand.

what a nice car....

I do think 'maybe' someone swapped the passenger seat bottom for the drivers side (passenger side looks more worn?).

I believe I owned this car in 2004. The car sold new in Allentown, Pa. and was basically repainted. Regarding the passenger seat bottom, it had a very noticeable burn mark on the passenger seat bottom. If this is the same car that would explain why the seat has been replaced. Also heavily undercoated even in the trunk. I will check my paper work VIN and see if it matches. There was no factory documentation on the car in 2004, and I sold this car and another lemans blue rs/ss L78 to buy my Yenko. It was a legit low mileage car but was not a true survivor.
