I cleaned it up some with some gas and manual labor.

Hey Rick good to know info on the L78 only having an open element or Cowl Induction breathers.

What is your take on these two build sheets. Check out the code on the air breather. One is from an LS6 the other is from an L78.....

Both those cars did not have cowl induction.
Marked &quot;CP&quot; i think it was an open air element as closed dual snorkel element was marked &quot;CO&quot; (not 100% sure if i am correct)
&quot;DG&quot; was cowl induction.
There is also a &quot;SS&quot; code for 396 350 HP cars with open air element.

Sorry for jumping in on the O/P. Thanks for the info. Any idea why they would have two codes for open element cars. I have seen SS codes on other L78's and LS6 sheets as well as L34 cars. These are the only two I have with the CP.

I've seen it on a scarce few.No idea..it's an anomaly,as the vast majority used &quot;SS&quot;.
