This is great! I also closed my "free" checking account, which was with Comerica Bank, after over 20 years of banking with them. When I went in to discuss the matter with their rep, the response was no better than your response from "Kevin."

Wish I would have had your letter!

Careful when you go to close your account, because if they are like 5th Turd, they will want to charge you $ 50 to close.

I left enough money in my account to cover outstanding checks, then after all cleared, determined the balance left in the account, went to an ATM and took it out. Wasn't going to give them a nickel to close an account.
