Here is the first Hurst Line lock. ![]() If you look real close, the Hurst logo is in the brass section. ![]() Here is one I have from 1969 with the dated instructions. Illistrations reflect this type of unit too. Note the older box. ![]() ![]()

This is so interesting. The early package I have that looks like yours, has the common type solenoid. However, the later package on the right, has a solenoid that looks more like yours. But it is not exactly the same.
The one on the car is very cool.
