Fully get it if it's a true untouched survivor (ie Charley's Z), but might be cool to take care of that metal before the rust progresses? Nice car! </div></div>I am all for a repaint Tenney but NOT a frame off deal. Why would you make this car look like all the other cookie cutter resto's out there? It will lose its personality IMO. |

I'd leave it alone. Frame-offs are for field finds..

That car is not as untouched as you think. Its been repainted. Look at the clips and bolts that hold the wheelwells to the fenders. They are painted. The clips and bolts are black when thay are installed. also the rear stailess mouldings are missing from the trunklid and the front seats appear to have been redone. I would definetly do a restore to that one.

They did say it has had a 3/4 repaint so maybe you could still get away with just a good repaint and a real good clean up? Looks like a nice car to have though.

Well its all about how the owner plans on enjoying the ride. Personally I like to look at these old original rides more then I do a restored piece of art. But thats just me!

Kinda reminds me of a '69 Judge in Baltimore, MD owned by Wayne Garrison's dad. Wayne is pretty well known around here (Balto.) for Pontiacs and races a '69 GTO with a Judge "look". Wayne's dad bought his new and I'm fairly sure the car has had only a re-paint. The last time I saw the Judge it looked REAL good.
