Here's the numbers XXX posted for EV2:

Hemi Orange EV2 984 43 195

That means 195 US-spec R/T SEs were built. I don't know where you got the idea that there were fewer regular R/Ts built.

When i posted the numbers i listed them by color then model in this order.
JS23 JS27 JS29

JS23 = Hardtop R/T
JS27 = Convertible R/T
JS29 = S.E. Special Edition R/T.
So this would be how you read those numbers.

442w30 is correct that these numbers are all based on USA production R/T models, the imports will ad some production to these numbers but not much.

Color + Models JS23 JS27 JS29

I might as well also say that for the immense popularity of B5 blue, B3 and B7 tend to be a lot rarer, especially the former.

Thanks for the clarification on those numbers. I wasn't quite sure how those columns broke down, and now I see it. And I love the B7 color!

What are some of the two-tone paint scheme combos on the R/T? Did they use a "suggested color combo", or could the buyer choose any combo they wanted? Could someone order Plum Crazy and Top Banana two-tone?

Also curious if they used the same trim divider to separate the two-tone paint scheme as they did with the vinyl top.

These are the recommended ones, but you could have any combo you wanted. Those cars usually had a V08 "Paint, Trim & Vinyl Roof Edit Waiver" on the data plate. The below car doesn't have that code.

I had a triple black 70 Hemi Challenger R/T (not an RT/SE) that I bought from the original owner in 1980. It was sold new at Grand-Spaulding Dodge. When I restored it, I left off the vinyl roof. Kept it until 1995. Last I knew of, it was in Bethesda MD in 1997.
