Yeah, that picture with Mr Norm was a stressful day. He signed the dash with a perfect signiture (he never really ever signs a dash), but I was not sure if it was going to turn out well. It helped in coaxing him to do it when he found out his best saleman (the guy that sold the car new on the mr norms paperwork that I have with the car) was my wife's god father. My father in law was his second best saleman (started his van buisness), and Mr Norm and him did not end their relationship on a high note (my father in law could write a book about the days at the dealership, unbelivable stories). In the end, he sat there for a while pondering what to write on the dash (pleased in once sense, but venting a bit about my father in law too), and I thought it was going to look bad, but he pen'd a perfect 'Members only, Mr Norm'.

My car was at the dealership for 1 yr before selling, they are not sure if it was buried in the back, but thats the thought Mr Norm has about the car. They were to try to sell the cars coming off trailers first.

That picture looks like it was taken at the Boone County Fairgrounds - was that at one of the Chicagoland Mopar Happenings?

yep, that was it, I think 2006 or 2008. My car will look more correct with the other mr norm car gatherings if it gets its 15 x 12's back on

I have not gotten too much farther...did find a brand new set of mickey thompsons N50s with nubs still for $150 and some front rocket wheels (3 hr ride to go pick up still).

air shocks work. should be ready in spring.

thanks for asking...learned that Rocket Wheels are freaking hard to find, yet were popular back in the day2. 15 x 10 Rockets are just 'unobtainium'.

The rear Rockets on your car where 15 x 8 reversed(deep dish). You can tell by how the tire bead was "sucked in" near the bead compared to the tread width. I have seen 15 x 8 Cragars(and 15 x 8.5 slots) on N50's and they are identical on how the tire is sucked in.

On one thread I posted a Chevelle with 15 x10 Rockets on N50's and you can tell the difference.

Whitetop, I have definitely learned a lot from you (not the first time). I am including the following shots to reinforce your point. These are old pics of when the car was picked up. the inside shot does look like its quite a way away from the drum fins, so really no offset. the outside shot just is for more info. thanks for the help (again!).
