The driver was knocked out on the initial wall hit...the throttle hung and the front end damage locked the front wheel(s) basically making it like a line lock. Last I read, there was some discussion that the throttle was possibly stuck open prior to hitting the wall and is what caused the carnage, but the driver says it's still fuzzy... </div></div>

If you check the time on the video it takes over 60 seconds for the safety crew to arrive. That is way to long.

With todays electronic widgets it would be pretty easy to have sensors that detect a hit on the car and instantly shuts everything off.
