no no no. They also had coaxials too. They were cheaper they were the ones I could afford. The rich kids has the tri's!

This was my brother's 1979 Trans Am Special Edition, 400 4-speed, that he special ordered and picked it up in Dec. 1978.

W-72 - super T10 - WS6.... would be the correct formula for a late '70's T/A

I remember one day back in my high school years, back before I understood the difference between &quot;6.6 Litre&quot; and &quot;T/A 6.6&quot;, I pulled into gas station in my 89 Mustang and happened to pull in next to a very pretty, well maintained red 79 T/A. The older guy driving and I struck up a conversation, and I asked &quot;Which engine?&quot; He looked at me like I'd sprouted a second head and said &quot;The <span style="font-style: italic">only</span> engine. Four hunnert Pontiac.&quot;
