great news for me today! the original owner of my car is coming saturday to hang out with the car in the MCACN vintage un-restored display. he said the car was one of the fastest road car west of madison wisconsin, and he never lost a race (he was a professional race car driver). the reason the paint is rubbed off on the front edge of the endura bumper is he would give his challenger a 'beer head start' as they raced bar to bar. He would come up from behind and bump the car when he caught them. He knows alot about hult chevrolet and the yenkos there in 69. He raced with Cale Yarboro and I found his international racing license in camaro when I first got the car. I am giving him that back when he comes saturday. Really looking forward to the show now more than ever!

Someday...he is 71. He drives a viper SRT10 truck now, and told me yesterday he had it in the 140s recently. Cool guy. I tried the cutout switches he installed for shutting off the tail light and backup lights, and they still work.
