If I remember correctly, Denooyer purchased the former Dick Smith Chevrolet on Wolf Road in Albany in 1971 or 1972. The Denooyer family has owned a Chevrolet dealership in Michigan for many more years, I believe the grandfather started it.
By the way, Denooyer in Albany has a performance division which offers new Camaros with 427s or 454s installed.
