Dang, I missed getting a pic today of, not a muscle car, but a total throw-back to the '70's on my way into work today:
A 1970's Dodge Van, shortened quite a bit, black with old school flames, chrome reverse Cragar S/S's in 15x10 on the front and 15x12 on the rear, and a (Cadillac or ?) full-width taillight across the bottom of the rear below the doors, lol. I almost couldn't believe it as I haven't seen a custom van in forever. Couldn't get my phone out quick enough, dang it!

This is my LS6 Chevelle on Day 2, Ansen slots on the rear and big Polyglas meats. The HURST shifter and ANSEN nhra approved blow-shield the original owner installed in its first summer are still on the car. DAOUST license frame is still with the car as is the DAOUST key fob. I got the old pics from the original owner Jim Johnson.

Would this be considered Day 2?
Or not really because there are no old speed parts on it. 1973 PHR cover car being freshend up at The Roadster Shop. ![]() ![]() |
