I love them '68 cars a lot also! The front & rear "CHEVY II" emblems and the key still on the dash made them bitchin' cars. I still have trouble identifying 1969 to 1972 Novas but '68's always stand out from the other years. Makes me kinda miss my '68 L-79 Chevy II I sold a few years ago. I can still visualize how great it would have looked with red steel wheels, dog dish hubcaps and a Stinger hood. It would have made a great Pure Stock car with its' L-79, Muncie M-20, and 3.55 12-bolt.

Hey there. That be my Gold Chevy II. Sure had fun @ beaver but didn't do that well. Thanks for taking an interest in it. That was my first showing @ Super Chevy since 1987 or 88. Had a nice time there too. Jim

Awsome Nova Jim. I took a real interest in your car at Super Chevy. 68s are a def. rarity.

I'm not sure how many of you have seen my '68 that I used to have. I sold it and purchased the Chevelle.

No Sam, it was a clone. One of the previous owners totaled a '68 SS and his wife totaled a '69 SS Chevelle. He found this Nova and put the SS trim on it and the 396 from the Chevelle in it. I changed everything over to make it look like a true Big Block car and then took a 454 and built a 427. That car was a lot of fun to drive. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/ ![]() Kurt
