Dave,
Had my original radiator for my 69 (Z) recored about eight years ago with no problems to date.Was able to reuse original tanks and upper & lower parts of the core.He told me you can't get anymore original than that.Even saved my radiator tag also.If your tag is still there,make sure you tell them not to remove it.

The original tag is still there. I told them not to touch it!
