Default Re: 1970 Baldwin Motion LT-1 Corvette

Man O Man!!! I love the look of polished aluminum slotties on a period shark bodied Vette!!
Not trying to hijack this cool thread, but reminds me of my first "real" Corvette. It was around 1993 & I was bound and determined to capture a real piece of Corvette history and found a '69 L-36 427 M-21 car that had been put to sleep back in 1973......originally Cortez Silver, was wearing old school black laquer and 15x9 American Slotties on vintage G-60 Goodyear Polyglas's along with a set of black Hooker style side pipes, a radical cam change, a Holley and a Motion type "Fly Eye" aircleaner. Cool thing was that as I tracked previous ownership, I found out through the second owner that first owner had ordered car to race in SCCA out of the Seattle area. I drove it like this for the first couple years, it was a bear with manual steering and brakes. I can only imagine if a Motion car was the same sort of experience.....
