I have a soft spot for Mustangs. I've owned 9, including a 1967 Shelby GT350, 1967 GTA convertible and a K code GT fastback.

ok, have had this since 1970

a real barn find, I bought it out of a barn in Whitmore Lake when I was still in high school

It cost me $1450, people thought I was crazy paying a "coupe" price for a Tudor ...

I just wanted a 34 Ford bad, and this one was original paint and interior so, even though i wanted a coupe I "settled" for the Deluxe Tudor ...

At the Ford 100th Anniversary show at Ford World headquarters, we had 3 original paint cars in a row, 33, 34 & a 35:

Thank you, yes it is a factory color, it's called Poppy red. It is more of an orangey-red than Rangoon red.

Thanks K code - color looks cool and one you do not see too often.

Jim - I really like your '34. Would love to see it at the Pavillions some time. Original paint! Wow!

Couldn't have said it any better. One of the prettiest cars Henry ever built. Original paint to boot! WOW

That Poppy Red Pony reminds me of a similar car that used to race at our old strip. HiPo 289 car that would yank the wheels in MP class. And that was back in the late 60s when such a thing was highly uncommon. One BadA$$ Mustang!

Our neighbor just dropped off his 66 T-Bird to have some things checked on it. It will be the first Ford we have worked on since my parents owned a 69 Country Squire wagon in the late 70's! haha
