Check those rally wheels for dates and codes, you might just have a ZJ7 car. I think the wheel code is YJ (?). Many times when the car has a lot of gingerbread on it, it has non XT wheels too. I learned that with our car. I assumed it was an XT car, but learned that that it likely had the rally wheel option.</div></div> Marlin, it sounds from the info provided that he has the GM Canada documentation for this car. If the car came with ZJ7 from the factory, it would be listed under the options on the documentation. This was the case with my 1970 L78. Bob

Hi Pete, I have not come accross the L-78 Shadow Grey car, but I am sure it would be pretty nice looking in that color.
As to the wheels, pretty sure it is a steel wheel car, as having had a number of Canadian cars with the GM Canada paperwork, the rally wheel code has been listed when equipped. I would love to see that Cortez Silver car, one of my fave colors too, and the paperwork supporting the 427 install would be very cool to see also. Should be picking up the car and bringing it home later this week. I will be able to check diff code and other things then and post that info. |
