Here are some links to discussions on this topic...Chevy did away with anything deeper than 3.55 in 70 model year Novas. (except the Deuce) I guess they wanted to cut down on all those CE motors they had to provide because folks couldn't keep their right foot out of the water pump [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/burnout.gif[/img]
