Nickey Stage III 427 over 1,000 hp

Nickey and Bill Thomas built a "Street" Camaro Twin Turbo with over 1,200hp to the rear wheels back in 2002!

The point is not just the peak numbers, but how and when and the engine makes the TQ and HP, as well as the fuel required to get that HP.

Look at the length of time/RPM range this engine is making TQ and HP.

We designed this engine to run on pump gas at 13 +/- pounds of boost.

This engine could be boosted to over 20pds and run on race fuel, but that is not the objective of this build.

We are extremely satisfied with the results.

Just a bit of information on the car for those who don’t know. It is a 2010 Chevy Camaro, it has a LSx based 427ci engine, All-Pro LSW 12* heads, Jesel shaft mount valvetrain, Custom built turbo headers, Precision 68/65 turbos, TiAL 44mm wastegates, TiAL 50mm Blowoff, Custom Bell Intercooler, FAST 102mm Intake with 102 Throttle body.
