Check this thread. This old 'Vette really pops. Love the Meguiars M80 Speed Glaze. Then follow with Meguiars Showcar Glaze 7. Then a good carnuba like Meguiars Hi Tech Yellow wax. All applied with a Porter Cable with a foam pad. These products have been around for awhile but they work. We use it on every thing from lacquer to basecoat/clear with good results.
