Bob, thanks for the invite, Diana and I had a GREAT time.

Spending time with others from this site, seeing their cars again, and watching them take home numerous awards was, as always, fun.

Yes ’69 Camaro (entered by the wife) received a Blue Ribbon, which really surprised us, as it was by no means the nicest car in the class. Leaving the rubber on the rear quarter panels from past burnouts seemed to influence the judge, who told me he liked to see cars that had history and “battle scars” to prove it. Diana allowed me to drive the car past the reviewing area, where I received a very nice trophy and got to tell a little of the cars history. This was a first for me, really neat.
