On my 68 Camaro the BB frame mounts are approx 2-5/8 wide the motor mounts are 2-3/8 wide and the application shows 68-70 but are not correct at all, When I did the conversion to BB on my 71 Nova I used 69 Camaro frame mounts and the same motor mounts I have now and worked great. Im sure someone has had this problem any clues on a correct motor mount?

For Big Blocks....1967-1968 Camaro and 1968 Nova are the same. 1969 Camaro and 1969-1970 Nova are the same.

I figured that out quite early but not finding a part number for the 68 mount that is correct, seems the 69-70 narrow style keeps coming up.

This might help. GM discontinued these a couple of years ago. I would check with your local GM dealer some one may have them on the shelf. I went through the same problem with my 68 L78 Nova.
Hope this helps! Jason ![]() ![]()

Think I found it # 2285 for 67-8 and # 2283 Duralast DER and Anchor numbers most books show 2283 for 67-70 396 70 up 402 wich is incorrect.

Jason Thanks!! I just figured out the numbers the same time you were posting. #2285 is the correct replacement to the discontinued GM unit.
