Welcome. Sounds like you have the real deal, atleast a BBC car. See if there are any signs of a original front coil spring tag too. And B4 you take anything apart, take lots of photo's of the stuff you have already mentioned. That may be the only "Proof" you ever have. Mike |

If the orig fuel line(s) are still in place, that will tell if L78 or L34, single fuel line = L78, 2 lines equal =L34 (although assembly line freaks have been known to occur), CBT(3:55) axle has been shown to be the default rear ratio for an L78, CBR.(3:31) for an L34. With what you describe, smells like an L78 Nova (same exact set up as mine) Good luck with it.

Remove the back seat (both bottom and back rest) and see if you can find a build sheet stuffed in the springs..That would be an awesome find. Martin |
