Hi Marty, Just to respond to your post. I have a full 5 page invoice, Joel knows the car very well. The aero coupe motor was transplanted into my car. He wrote the invoices himself, motor from Mr Motions white aero coupe . From what my friend told me this was the last project car that motion did, I mean 31 grand thats a lot of dough in 1990. In any event this car is as documented as they come. I even have a pic of the car at the motion display at the Nassau Coliseum in 1990 which it won first place, and I have the trophy. When I get the car at my house and figure out how to post pics I will do so.

I don't think any of my comments questioned the authenticity of your car. Joel acknowledged that he built it. He was questioning your comment about it being the "last MOTION car."
According to him, it's not.
Hope you can post pix when you get it.
Marty

Hi again Marty, I did not think you questioning the car. I was just telling the board what my friend told me. He did not say it was the last car worked on at motion, He said it was the last car of this magnitude that motion built. Does not really matter to me anyway. Will post pics when car is here.

Hi:
Please let me be clear about both mine and Joel's comments. No way was anyone dumping on your car. The question was only about "the last MOTION car built." Your response was: "He did not say it was the last car worked on at motion, He said it was the last car of this magnitude that motion built."

We are not talking about cars worked on at MOTION. Joel simply said it was not the last MOTION car built, nothing to do with cars being worked on in the shop or magnitude of cars.

I suggest that you write to Joel to determine if your car was the last MOTION Monte Carlo built. That would be great provenance to have with your car.
Marty

I know your car was built after the white Aero Coupe. However, I believe there were others. Joel can tell you for sure what the count was, but there were more than two.
