I guess it is still a cool 427 Impala but not a rare COPO.

MOST of the &quot;rare&quot; COPO's discussed here are of the performance variety, ie 427-425 hp in a Camaro or a Chevelle

not a low horse 427 in an Impala

While cool, they are not really a &quot;performance&quot; car

As stated, nearly ANY car could have a &quot;COPO&quot; attached to it, fleet order, odd color, etc. Even 4 doors could be a &quot;COPO&quot; [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

Jim is right and since the 427/425 is still an available RPO option, it would not be considered a COPO except one of the other above reasons. However, none of those would really add any value to the car over and above what it already is.
