Default Re: BBC Casting 3969854 with 4.250bore?

Looks like a Chevelle block...cast Nov. 4/69 and assembled on 11/6/69...pretty close dates??

CKO is an L78 4spd...same code for Nova, Chevelle and Camaro

VIN tells the story..K is for Kansas City...that means Chevelle

as for the 4.25 bore...that would be the bore for a 427 or 454...some of the 854 blocks can be punched out that big...all depends upon core thickness/cylinder walls...someone has obviously worked on it before.
