Jed, Here is the story and more pics on the 73 Z you asked about. In the late 70's I traded my 63 Split Window for the Z that a friend of mine owned. I had the Vette for sale at the time for $6k. As you see from the one pic I wrecked the car and then I decided to do the custom paint job. A friend of mine was the local art teacher who also did custom paint jobs and now he is a tatoo artist, his name is Dick Cummins, he still does tatoo's at one of the Carlisle events. Attached are a few pictures of other paint jobs he did on my 79 Chevy Van, and my 58 K model Sportster. You guys will appreciate the paint work on the van, especially the back, he charged me $1500. for the paint job. He took his art students over to his shop during class to help paint the murals on the van. Enjoy! The sad end to the Z story, I eventually sold the Z to a local guy on a Friday, and the very next day on Sat. night he lost control of the car and took it over an embankment and totalled it.
