So you mean to tell me that the car at RM was a 283 car originally?
And what were the signs to figure it out? |

The RM car sold for around 70,000. Sold last at Barrett Jackson in 2003 for $44---. Only 8 miles since then. Trailer queen but had a few issues with originally. Probable restamp.

-----442,,,Its been awhile but I think what started me thinking that direction was the small-block fuel line still on the frame. Then other stuff jumped out at me. In no way am I saying this car is the car, though. Just that it is a coincidence,,,,,,and, personally, I dont think much of coincidences. As I am in Cabo at the moment Im not available to look in person. It could have been that many years ago, though. The car I saw back then was very nice. Had one heck of a paint job and, as I recall was in the big tent.......Bill S
----- I just noticed that the owner is from FLA. If the car hasnt changed hands since that auction I may have seen another car since that car was definetly sold to a guy from Scottsdale..... |
