The dealer told me that I could have ordered a dual disc clutch in the Chevelle for about $96 CDN back in the day. That would probably be over $1000 in today's money, a lot of money for the average guy. Although I never had clutch problems in close to 200K miles of driving, in hind sight, it might have been good insurance. Exploding clutches are nasty. They were said to be bullet proof, but that's just talk. &quot;They&quot; say a lot of stuff. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif[/img]

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
