Cool ol' sedan. What's happening with the trips that are on the mock-up engine in the car?

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but if it's a pre early 57, it's probably a 265. 283s didn't start until after 57 production was started. The 57 I had was a 265.
Nothing wrong with that. She ran very well. Seems people forget the 265. |

Googling on Edelbrock C355 gives you some info. It is for the early 265 CSB engines. A later model C357 is for the 283.
The 265 have very small ports and the C355 matches them. Here is some info I found: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=405852 Jan |

The posters are probably an early/mid 80's vintage at best. The show was held at the Prairie Capitol Convention Center (PCCC) which wasn't around in the 70s. I took my kids to one of the earliest shows there and they were probably 4 & 7 years old at the time. That puts it in the 1982 range.
