Guys, I'm in the market for some tires for one of my Chevelles. I may do something like a day two look. What companies do you recommend? I know Coker and Diamond Back. Let me know some more that I know that I'm forgetting about. I might go with a bias ply type tire. I'm having trouble with what to put on the front. I want them to be skinny but not pizza cutter skinny on 15" wheels. L60 X 15s on the rear. Thanks for the help.

Tim, I think a set of bias ply red lines with either Cragars or Torque Thrusts would look killer on a Chevelle.. I really like the bias ply look but some guys prefer radials.. You can pick up Firestone Wide Ovals for a reasonable price. Summit & Jegs sells them now or you can even check ebay. Sometimes it is much cheaper than going through Coker direct..
I have a set of Cragar SS wheels with Firestone Wide oval RSWL tires for my 70 Nova. It really changes the look from the bias ply white stripe tires and color coded wheels with the poverty caps!! It's nice to change the look periodically..... Rich

I like the Mickey Thompson's too for a day two look. They are available from Summit, might be other places to get them also.

Sorry, I have been away from the computer while I was at the Pure Stock Drags.
There are actually 3 Goodyear tires that would work well with L60-15's in the rear. The F70-15 (used on Corvettes) is a tall tire with still a good amount of tread. Then you have E60 and F60-15's. Both of these will give you more of a big and little look. Here is a chart from Kelsey Tires Tire Chart Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I will be more than happy to help !!!! Thanks guys for the help. I'm just trying to remember a few of the old style tire companies like Coker and Diamond Back. A good while back someone else had posted some companies that I had not heard of. Does anyone remember any that I am forgetting? Rob,Tom, anyone recall? Thanks for the help.
