I guess it could be either of these - the car was purchased at an auction several years ago. He told me the restorer was Joe Meeks from North Carolina but as you know people can always make mistakes when it comes to this stuff. If a Joe Cheeks is a restorer from NC I would assume that this is probably the one he is speaking of.
The car was a 1969 SS/RS L89 tribute car - magenta red with black interior. He told me the car was judged 997/1000 at some event but I dont recall which one he stated. Thanks- |

-----Gotta be Joe Cheeks as he is a real auction "hound", and that sounds like a car he might have had. I rarely have seen him have a car at an auction that wasnt very nice. Comes up with some nice, clean stuff. I dont have any idea how to catch up to him, but someone on the sight will......Bill S
