Our SS396 car still has the Stewart-Warner tach and gauges along with the Hurst shifter that the original owner installed back in Day 2. The Cragars aren't period correct but will do. The restored gas station makes a nice back drop for pictures.

Well, since the site stopped hosting photos this is a real easy way to share photos with everyone. Unlike photo bucket, all your family and friends can be informed and view your pictures as soon as you post them. PLUS FB can host photos that are displayed here in our threads.

My favorite part, it's free and the grandparents and Great Grandparents can all get the kiddie pictures same day !!

I like Keiths views on Day-2. Some things got changed quick but some things had to wait till the car got payed off or so. There is a fine line from Day-2 and a drag car of that period. Wheels, headers, traction bars, a better shifter and some gauges to ME are day-2 mods. My 69 SS nova started Day-2 mods about 3 weeks after I bought it. Headers and a Hurst Competition plus was the first couple things. I bought a set of rally wheels from a friend and when my redline Uniroyals were used up I put some H/70 Schenuit's on the back. That was it till I made it a drag car only in about 1974. So........
