incorrect. GM took some of the money they got on loan and paid THAT back to the gov't saying they paid some of the the loan back.. How underhanded..

FYI...It was a loan and GM has paid it back. As a matter of fact, all 3 US automakers are seeing profits. That hasn't happened since 2004.

Ford is doing a great job but so is GM and Chrysler. As someone said before....this is the 60's all over again between the new musclecars.

Keep them coming!!! </div></div>

I think Ford is doing it right and GM has a difficult road to recover. They have not paid back the bailout money and are beholden to the Unions and Obama. The results are cars like the $41K Volt that goes 40 miles on a charge...good grief. They are destined to build a bunch of government mandated cars that no one wants. I still don't think the Z will make it though the red tape, gotta watch those CAFE numbers, but one can hope.

Ford has the freedom to build cars people want like the Boss 302, hopefully it is not too late for GM but time is running out.

Until the government gets out of the car business, I am a Ford buyer.

I am calm Don. Yea i love em both but I am salty with GM since they took the loan and then LIED about paying it back so that the public can be 'proud' of them and buy their cars instead of making good cars that people actually want. Also they killed Pontiac.. grrrrr
